The purpose of this ministry is to use the Truths found in the Word of God to transform us from ordinary to that extraordinary woman that is found in Titus 2:3-5: “The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becomes holiness, not false accusers,
not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”
Our women’s ministry meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm for a time to be equipped, engaged and transformed.
Our worship is both contemporary and traditional. We attempt to reach all cultures and ethnicities. We consider Praise and Worship to be a vital part of our church. As such, there is room for born-again Christians with talent or gifting in the area of music (keyboards, drums, guitar, singing, teaching and instruction) to join us in making our Praise and Worship the best that it can be. If you are interested in joining our praise & worship team, fill out the form below.
Our youth ministry focuses on preparing youth ages 12-17 to apply biblical truth to the challenges of real life they face every day and equipping them to transition into healthy, committed adult worshippers. In addition to classroom training, our youth ministry leaders provide guidance through Christian social activities, including things like youth events, ice cream socials, overnights, skating, bowling, and more. If you are a youth, a parent, or someone with a passion for reaching youth, fill out the form below for more information.
The mission of our children’s ministry is to assist parents in training up our children in the knowledge of the Lord, Jesus Christ. In our classroom settings, we focus on providing age-appropriate lessons and activities that begin training and developing their spiritual, mental, and relational life in ways that will have a lasting and true influence on their morals, values and the decisions they make. We also have a nursery for infants. Fill out the form below to serve in our children’s ministry.

Family Fun Night @ City Union Mission’s Family Life Center
Each 4th Saturday of the Month, the small groups of Grace and Truth Church each sponsor the “Family Fun Night” for the families that are living at the Center. We provide biblical alternatives for family entertainment, by showing approved movies and providing snacks for the families. As well, we play board games, and provide children’s activities both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). Our hope is to earn the opportunity to be used of God to provide biblical solutions and counsel to the homeless families of Kansas City. We believe that the application of biblical principles is the answer to every issue of life. For more information about Family Fun Night or to learn more about how you can join us, fill out the form below.
City Union Mission
Grace and Truth Church is committed to being a part of the solution to provide spiritual guidance and physical assistance to the homeless community in Kansas City. We believe that our involvement in this effort should extend itself beyond merely praying for homelessness, or even complaining about homelessness, as opposed to actively participating and investing in the lives of the homeless community. Each 1st Thursday of the month @ 6:30 PM we provide the chapel service for the men. The teaching and preaching is provided by the laymen of Grace and Truth in an effort to train every man to be a minister. To learn more, fill out the form below.
